Project Overview
Led the design process from inception to completed design. The JRNY site went through all phases of the design process with careful consideration of the user experience. This includes understanding the needs and wants of the target audience, researching current trends in web design, creating wireframes and prototypes to test usability, and designing an interface that is both intuitive and visually appealing.
Research & Empathize
Before beginning any project it’s important to understand who your users are and what they need from your product or service. Conducting market research helps you gain insights into user behavior, preferences, expectations, as well as what competitors are doing in this space. It’s also important to consider how people use mobile devices differently than desktop computers when designing websites for mobile-first experiences.
Ideate & Wireframe
After gaining an understanding of user needs through research it’s time to start sketching out ideas. Next came utilizing Adobe XD and Figma to create interactive prototypes to test with users before investing too much time in development workflows.
User Testing
Once wireframes have been created, it’s essential that these be tested by real users in order to identify any potential issues. User testing helps ensure that all elements work together harmoniously while providing an enjoyable experience that meets user goals.
Design & Analyze
After usability testing has been completed successfully then comes the fun part – applying visuals! This is where form and function come together coherently while still being aesthetically pleasing.
